Dear Ms. Lynne, no time to watch or comment, but I don’t want to miss the discussion when it happens. Consider this a subscription post that you may keep or delete, as you see fit. //

Isn’t it odd that there’s a port-o-jon near the concrete barriers? Also, they seem to keep the road and parking lot of the abandoned school plowed. Remember the photos from the Ottawa couple? The snow had recently been plowed in that image and it looks like that’s the case here too. What is going on up there?

Very strange. I see nothing that tells me that is a firehouse, I saw no fire trucks, no signs of life other than a few trucks

    • lynne0312 says:

I know. No sign, no flag, no fire trucks. I was thinking it’s odd that they built those two additional truck bays on the side of the building when they already had 7 in the front. It’s so strange.

Does anyone remember an interview with a younger (probably 8-10 year old) child that day. I think he said he say police handcuffing a man. He had dark hair and in the background could be seen construction workers(?) working on a barrier/concrete wall of some kind. I always thought it was odd that these workers would be doing work when one of the biggest mass shootings in our country’s history just went down. I’m gonna try to find it in a youtube video and let you all know.

I really like Lynne’s “speculative theory” of the firehouse actually being the school and some of the kids who were interviewed were St. Rose students. Remember the girl in the pink (?) who said she heard NO gunshots? Maybe she was part of the St. Rose drill. Also, I’m wondering where exactly some of those interviews with survivors and parents took place. Was it along the road?

I’m gonna try to do some digging tonight. Possibly rewatch some of those interviews. I tried to find an online year book or some database for St. Rose students but no luck yet.

There’s another one with him not blanked out. I’ll try to find it. (I wonder why they did that?)

      • Blondie says:

Yep, that’s the one. It’s such a bizarre scene. A weird place to do an interview. And the workers (are they workers?) look very unconcerned with what’s going on around them.

    • Crystal says:

I saw this video awhile ago too. I thought it was strange that the little boy said he heard banging when asked if he heard gun shots and they were banging while working on that wall. Why would they keep working thru all of everything. I wonder where the wall is and why they were building it and what company they work for. It’s just strange.

There’s also this Children’s Adventure Center, Inc., right behind the Newtown Senior Center and right across from the firehouse and down the hill from the school. I’m wondering if that’s worth checking out. The address is 14 Riverside Road.

        • lynne0312 says:

I looked at that place just days after the shooting. I looked at the website and it seemed like it was just thrown together to appear as if it was a real center. I don’t think it is. It is owned by the town of Newtown also.

        My thoughts exactly!

So, I was trying to look into construction/road projects that would have taken place on Dickinson, Church Hill, Riverside, etc., around the day of the shooting. I ran into this PDF file titled “Town of Newtown: Commercial Development Update, January 2012,” and it has some pretty interesting things. One item (on page 21 of the document) has a list of major employers in the area. As of January 2012, the Town of Newtown Department of Education is the top employer with 704, the next closest is Masonicare (Masons) Health Center with 299. The Corrections Dept. is next with 288 and then the Taunton Press (from what I can tell they publish Arts & Crafts magazines) with 235. Those are the only employers above 200 on the list. So, this whole area seems to be VERY heavy on education. I think someone mentioned before how strange it was that such a small town could have so many schools. I grew up in a town twice the size of Newtown and we had 1 high school, 1 middle school, and 2 elementary schools. It just seems kinda weird.

Here is the PDF link: http://www.newtown-ct.gov/Public_Documents/NewtownCT_CommDev/CommDevelUpdate.pdf

On the list of appeoved new construction is park and rec. they share chalk hill school with other local government. I wonder were they plan on building. One of the ideas I heard was they wanted to tear down the SH school but couldn’t get approval. Since so many people died the town wants it down now. I wonder if one of these approved new construction projects is in line for the land once the school is gone.

      • allisatx says:

That fits. On CNN there was an interview with a father (child not a victim) of SHE. The question was do you feel safe with your child entering Kindergarten here. His reply hinted at the demolition of the building. In fact that seemed to be key in the interview. Along with accolades of school employees, city residents etc.

I read about a museum they are planning at Fairfield Hills, where the mental hospital used to be. Of course they will make a memorial about SH school there. Will people generations from now believe that this happened?:(

      • apollonian says:

No–we’re headed for currency-collapse, and it’s gonna happen pretty soon. US Dollar is being removed fm “reserve currency” status as we speak. In fact, THAT’S (currency-collapse) why powers want to dis-arm the people who are going to be in bad mood when we’ve been put to 3rd world status, everyone poor, 1% very rich–no middle class.

        • random says:

I think “someone” also wants guns to be like drugs, an under the table, high profit business with disposable employees. It could get to the point where only “criminals” had guns and anyone with one could be set up in a false flag operation.

        • lynne0312 says:

          Yes, I think you’re right.

        • apollonian says:

Random: my pt. was that people will, soon enough, realize what a gross farce this Sandy Hook event really was, esp. when US Dollar collapses and people reflect back upon things. But like everything else, the powers are moving quickly–before people can catch breath and reflect about things, like Sandy Hook, another “event” occurs, u see?–like this recent Chris Dorner, the black-guy, dis-gruntled cop. After enough “events,” Sandy Hook will be mere dim memory–this is our problemo.

Hi Lynne- In this link, there is a photo from Dec. 3rd of some people who have just unloaded christmas trees at the SH fire dept. (You might have to scroll through to get to it.)

Thanks. I would really like to see something from before ’09. Everything we’ve found has been ’09 or later but this would have been planned well in advance.
